Lunch Matters was created by Abby Aronsohn as a rebellion against bad sandwiches. A life-long lunch lover, Abby was a corporate executive, tired of lackluster sandwiches that spilled out all over her desk. Craving that “after Thanksgiving Day” sandwich experience – where each bite contains a taste of fresh turkey and every savory, distinct ingredient, or the simplicity of a classic chicken salad with real chicken and crunchy celery – she was disappointed by the sandwiches full of pre-cooked, pre-packaged ingredients that barely resemble their namesakes. Determined to fill the lunch void, Abby chucked corporate America and went to culinary school. Now she has launched Lunch Matters. It is a return to the real, fresh food that lunch can and should be. Knowing how many of us eat on the run or at our desks, a Lunch Matters sandwich is made with care, well proportioned and evenly distributed to deliver the most “deliciousness” in each bite, with little mess. Whether your tastes skew to the traditional of our “Classic Matters” menu or you enjoy a more “Amped-Up” combination like our “More Matters” selections, Abby & Lunch Matters make every lunch by hand, so what you get is perfectly composed and utterly “craveable”.
